Your Birth Order impacts your life

Writer: AnnettAnnett

Have you ever wondered how your life would have been - had you been born into a different position in your family?

It is my absolute pleasure to share my first podcast guest with you, this week.

Elaine Parker answer parents' questions that everyone will benefit from hearing.

Over the coming weeks, you can access insights on:

🌱 Why siblings are different despite the same parenting?

🌱 How your birth order determines your life and your parenting?

🌱 Sibling fights and how a parent can react?

Sibling Dynamics and Birth Order
Sibling Dynamics and Birth Order

As a middle child of three I learned to not feel seen and being overlooked, is a tendency I share with others sandwiched between an eldest and a youngest.

The belief that a second-born deserves attention too - is a “blindspot” I brought to parenting my own two children.

After facilitating a parenting course a few years ago, a father helped me become aware that my second child is also the youngest child.

Being able to stand back and see that based on my mistaken beliefs I was overprotecting my youngest , began to change the dynamic between my children.

Now there was room for mutual respect to grow.

You can listen to our conversation on Spotify and Apple Podcasts by searching for:

‘effortless parenting with freedom and boundaries’ and follow the show.
